ABOUT THE BOOK

It began with a dream in Italy.

Bea Salomma never planned to write a book. Twenty years into a career in creative industry and fashion – having worked with brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Levi’s, as Advertising Director at Harvard Business Review, teaching Art Direction at Amsterdam Fashion Academy, and building the ICON Method™ with clients around the world, she woke one night with a title she never doubted: Soul Dressing.

What followed was the recognition that had been sitting underneath her work the entire time. A client can’t explain why she loves a certain colour. A silhouette feels right before either of them says a word. There’s always the piece worn constantly, and the one hanging untouched at the back of the closet, tags still on.Style is one of the clearest languages the soul has – most of us were just never taught how to listen to it.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Bea Salomma’s background spans Advertising Director at Harvard Business Review, work with brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Levi’s, and lecturing in Art Direction and Fashion Styling at Amsterdam Fashion Academy. Through her business and her flagship programme, BECOME ICONIC™, she has helped women translate an inner shift into an outer presence that finally matches it. Soul Dressing is where that work meets the page.

Soul Dressing is a two-part journey. Part One, Soul Un-Dressing, takes the reader back through the Core, the Whisper, the Heart and the Body, back to the radiance that was there before the world asked her to dim it. Part Two, Soul Dressing, brings her forward through Bea’s own ICON Method™ – Identity, Curation, Overhaul, Navigation – the practical framework for building a wardrobe, and a presence, that finally matches who she has become.

Written for the high-achieving woman who has built a career, a family, a life, and who suspects, quietly, that her closet stopped being an honest mirror of her a long time ago.

Executive style coach Amsterdam — Bea Salomma, Identity and Style Expert for CEOs, business owners & leaders, bold signature style" Or a version leaning more into the visual itself: "Personal stylist Amsterdam — Bea Salomma showcasing bold, confident personal style for leaders and executives" Given the image itself is quite vibrant and fashion-forward, I'd go with the second option since it acknowledges the boldness of the actual photo rather than just repeating the same corporate phrasing as the previous image's alt text — a little variation across images helps avoid keyword-stuffing patterns that can look spammy to search engines anyway.

“Your most authentic style isn’t something you need to figure out intellectually, it’s something you already know emotionally. You just need to listen.”
